In Motion and Momentum
In Motion and Momentum (IM & M+) is a workshop series of three developmental modules that use an experiential learning approach to intrapersonal skill development. It is a strengths-based approach that allows participants to experience success, pride, respect, connection, hope and achievement. IM&M+ uses action-based learning methodology (e.g., multi-sensory-based activities, group projects and facilitated problem-solving sessions, action planning, goal setting, exploration of roles, improvisation in a cohort-based delivery format.
•IM&M is a skill discovery and goal setting program for individuals facing any barriers in their life.
•Participants discover skills and interests they might not know they have or are using through fun group activities.
•Participants work towards their self-set goals such as employment, entrepreneurship, schooling, volunteering, or anything they want to work towards.
•Participants create a vision for now and the future that is consistent with their personal life, realities and core values
•They build targeted life and basic employability skills
•Practice setting realistic goals and developing and implementing action plans
•IM&M consists of 31 workshops over a 13-week period over Zoom with great completion bonuses in the form of honorariums
