Like people without a disability, individuals with an intellectual or developmental disability have unique strengths, weaknesses, skills and talents. A job for a person with this disability could mean more independence, new friendships, and a sense of purpose and togetherness.

Community Living Toronto (CLTO), with the support of the Government of Ontario, has a mission to help these individuals by matching and securing more job opportunities for them. Join this workshop to learn how they empower job seekers to connect with employers for successful and supported employment opportunities which will allow them to be integrated into our thriving society to include people of all abilities being seen, heard and supported in the workplace.

Key learnings:

The value of disability inclusion and how it can impact your organization
Get insights on individuals with intellectual disabilities and how they have shown to be reliable, hardworking and have a positive impact on corporate culture
Why hiring an individual with intellectual disability is good for business
How CLTO can help HR teams find the right employee through their government-funded platform
