La loi sur l\u2019\u00e9quit\u00e9 en mati\u00e8re d\u2019emploi a pour objet de r\u00e9aliser l\u2019\u00e9galit\u00e9 en milieu de travail de fa\u00e7on que nul ne se voie refuser d\u2019avantages ou de chances en mati\u00e8re d\u2019emploi pour des motifs \u00e9trangers \u00e0 sa comp\u00e9tence et, \u00e0 cette fin, de corriger les d\u00e9savantages subis, dans le domaine de l\u2019emploi, par les femmes, les autochtones, les personnes handicap\u00e9es et les personnes qui font partie des minorit\u00e9s visibles, conform\u00e9ment au principe selon lequel l\u2019\u00e9quit\u00e9 en mati\u00e8re d\u2019emploi requiert, outre un traitement identique des personnes, des mesures sp\u00e9ciales et des am\u00e9nagements adapt\u00e9s aux diff\u00e9rences.
